JOHN DEMPSEY RIP

JOHN DEMPSEY
10/09/1944 – 30/12/2018

To All Members of Seal Swimming Club,

It is with great sadness that we wish to inform you of the sudden death of swim teacher John Dempsey on Sunday 30th December.

John has been a swim teacher with Seal Swimming Club for as long as we can remember.  He has put many a child through his hands and helped develop many of them to go on to Limerick Swimming Club.   He will be sorely missed by us all.

Our sympathies are with John’s family and his wife Maura at this very sad time.

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate on Thursday (Jan. 3rd) from 4.30pm. Removal at 6.30pm to St. John’s Cathedral. Requiem Mass on Friday (Jan. 4th) at 11am. Burial afterwards in Castlemungret Cemetery.

Family flowers only please; donations, if desired, to

Firstlight.ie. Supporting bereaved parents & families.

“Weep not that I have gone but rejoice that I have been”
